Fundraising Events-Electronics
We offer fundraising opportunites for both Non-profit organizations and for-profit organizations.
Would you like to raise money for your organization? Are you passionate about the environment and want CRT's, Appliances, Televisions, Computers and all electronics recycled responsibly? You can have fun while fundraising or helping our environment.
Theusedcomputers.com recycles lots of electronics for free. We only charge for TV's and some CRT monitors. This is where the opportunity for you to fundraise comes in. You can charge for any electronics that people will drop-off , and just pay us the difference on those items we charge for. For example, we charge $10 for Monochrome CRT monitors (those less than 15 inches) and $10 for TV's, you can charge $20 for the same and you pay us the difference. You could therefore have a fee for most items with an exception of a few, e.g Laptops, cellphones, etc. For us, we will only charge for the TV's and the said monitors.
We collecet anything that has an electrical cord on it!! They could be in working or scrap condition, it doesnt matter.
We will have two of our people at the venue, an hour before the event starts and they will be there until it ends. All materials dropped off will be collected on the same day by our crew. You need to have helpers to direct people and cars, people to collect the money and have a secure area (preferably a parking lot) to hold the event.
We strongly urge you to make the day a success by advertising the event. You can get free airtime on radio stations, TV, the internet, Yelp, Wicked Local, contact your chamber of commerce, send kids with flyers home, contact your city hall etc. Research on how to have a successful fundraiser and you will not be disappointed.
